WACTE works to provide legislative information to its membership for the purpose of encouraging advocacy for public policy beneficial to career and technical education programming. The annual Legislative Seminar held in Madison provides updates, education, and opportunities for members to discuss issues with state lawmakers. Through a developing legislative network, it presents the views of workforce education professionals to policymakers.

The association provides members with the WACTE ConTechs published three times annually. Through our affiliation with ACTE, members also receive ACTE's Techniques Magazine, which covers key concerns in workforce education and business/industry trends affecting education.

Other Professional Organizations

WACTE is involved with a number of other professional organizations including affiliation with the Association for Career and Technical Education, vocational student organizations and other professional associations representing various components of the field.
